An experienced CRE pro, Todd Burrows will focus on Florida’s fast-growing market for portfolios of Single-Family Residential and Build-For-Rent product
Boynton Beach, Fla. (January 8, 2018) – Commercial real estate veteran Todd Burrows has joined SVN Florida as a senior advisor focused on Florida’s fast-growing Single-Family Residential and Build-For-Rent (SFR/BFR) investment portfolio market. Working from SVN Florida’s Jupiter office, Burrows brings his vast experience to serve clients in the residential portfolio asset and Multifamily sector.
Burrows brings to SVN’s SFRhub Business Development Group more than two decades of commercial real estate expertise with more than 1,200 closed transactions in the investment and distressed asset markets. He has successfully served clients ranging from first-time investors to congressionally chartered entities such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

As a result of current economic conditions and buyer demand, the Single-Family Residential investment portfolio (more than five houses) market is robust and poised for even more growth, according to most experts. According to the US Census Bureau, today more than half of new households in the United States rent a single-family home and that number is expected to grow. Demand is outpacing supply, and revenue growth over the next few years is predicted to continue its upward trend.
In addition, builders and investors also are now realizing the opportunities available in the Build-For-Rent model of single-family homes in master-planned communities and self-contained subdivisions.
