Orlando senior advisor manages sale of property in MetroWest community

Orlando, Florida (January 14, 2020) – Mike A. Halimeh, senior advisor at SVN Florida Commercial Real Estate Advisors in Orlando, FL, has coordinated the $9.1 million sale of two office buildings in Orlando’s MetroWest district.

The buildings are 90- to 95-percent occupied with tenants in an economically vital part of southwest Orlando. SVN Florida represented the seller, Abdul Mathin of the BlackMINE Group. A private investment group in Miami purchased the property.

“These are great income-producing properties with long-term tenants,” said Halimeh. “The facilities are only a few miles from I-4 and Highway 408 in the MetroWest golf community. They’re minutes from Universal Studios and Disney World – an excellent location.”

Palm Gardens, the building at 1803 Park Center Drive, contains mostly medical tenants. Sienna Gardens at 1701 Park Center Drive is a mix: medical, professional, a language school and other businesses. Both buildings were constructed in 1990 and renovated in 2018.

The MetroWest planned community in downtown Orlando contains residential neighborhoods with nearly 1,000 homes and several schools, including Valencia College. Work on the thriving community, which includes a golf course and golf clubhouse, began in the 1980s.

“The activity in this area and the accessibility of the buildings from major thoroughfares help make this property a solid investment,” Halimeh said.
