20 acre parcel SOLD on SR 44 at Glencoe Road for a 253 Luxury Apartment complex in New Smyrna Beach
New Smyrna Beach, Fla. (January 14, 2019) — Two new projects and separate developers finalized land acquisitions for luxury apartment complexes within Volusia County at the end of December 2018. Both were represented by Barbara Coomber, a Principal and Senior Advisor of SVN Alliance Commercial Real Estate Advisors.
Coomber represented the longtime owner of the parcel at the southwest corner of SR 44 and Glencoe, Rebhan Realty LLC and the Buyer, MN Capital of Alabama. MN Capital anticipates beginning the project immediately which will include improvements to the lighted intersection on SR 44. The sales price was $2,799,000 with a closing date of December 28, 2018.
The Florida developer, Framework, purchased 26 acres for $3,200,000 on Williamson Boulevard, Daytona, directly across from the main entrance of the Advent Health Hospital (formerly Florida Hospital) from Consolidated Tomoka. They closed the transaction on December 14, 2018, and will begin construction of 260 luxury apartments as soon as permitting is finalized.
